Maari value evocative melody, soundscape crafting and textural blending of electronic and orchestral sounds. They love to balance fragility to grandeur and melancholy to romantic. When writing for film, each new project begins from scratch. Orchestration, soundscape crafting and lyric are built around script, visual inspirations and close collaboration with the Producers. Above all, this duo score around characters and the deeper meanings to their interactions. Together, the duo hold backgrounds studying Romantic Music, Jazz, Film Music, Soul and Pop (Bmus, GCMus); allowing for harmonic depth and stylistic versatility in their work whilst keeping their Contemporary roots front and forward.
